 Responsible for Third Party Yard, Depot, and Lease agreements in North America supporting consolidation of acquired companies and different business units including Warehousing, Cold Storage, Trucking, Rail, and Transportation for consolidated container and trailer storage needs under one team with standard contracting terms, rates, and conditions. Lead successful Joint Venture merger in which Maersk was a 51% shareholder, creating a $22mm capital investment, leading to a $25mm revenue stream and a $6.5mm profit in its first year of operation in 2022.  Helped develop contract logistics for depot product utilizing our own assets and our third-party suppliers to offer customer solutions, resulting in a revenue of $40mm annually with an EBIT of $10mm in 2023. Conducted multiple lease agreements with brokers, landlords and port authorities from term sheet to signature. Appointed as Head of Safety in 2022 for over 8 thousand third-party suppliers for North America responsible for consolidation of safety standards of 8 acquired companies into one platform.  Implemented the Avetta Safety platform which consolidates all safety information into one platform, while sunsetting 6 other safety platforms resulting in a savings of $250k annually while setting higher standards for our vendor partners.

 Negotiated and responsible for terminal and port contracts in Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa Bay, Mobile, New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle covering over 50 suppliers, and government entities with an annual spend of $400 million.  Conducted 4 negotiations, resulting in an estimated savings of $8m over a 4-year period in a monopolistic supplier network using union labor, while setting strict KPI measurements to ensure productivity and operations met contractual obligations.  Escalation point for six internal international supply chain teams for all vendors, using root cause analysis, contract management, to resolve issues as well as aligning our vessel network with the right terminal fit with cost and service. 2018 graduate of the Maersk International Procurement Program mastering of the 6 sourcing steps, from plan to strategy, to source to contract, then demand to delivery in a continuous loop of feedback to ensure compliance and coverage across the Maersk network.  Certified in class training on Category Management Excellence, Tender Strategy, Supply Chain Excellence, Sourcing Concepts and Techniques, Expert Negotiation, FAST TCO modeling, mindfulness leadership techniques, and a 6-month international business case with written and oral examination.  Led efforts to develop contracts with a preferred trucking supplier base, reducing from 1,100 to 400 suppliers over a five-year period, while negotiating national and regional contracts with volume commitments and penalty language resulting in a net savings of $36mm over the 5 years. Successfully managed multiple cross functional projects which included network, routing, dedicated truck fleet, contract compliance and process changes, with a forecasted savings of $12M for the time I was in this role.

 Key member of operations finance team responsible for contract management for rail, trucking, barge, and all accessorial cost in North America. Designed and managed multiple dashboards to ensure contract compliance for all rebate and penalty language for main supplier base in North America.  Responsible for the Finance Control Packet that documented all processes were in line with guidelines outlined by Center Finance and external auditors preventing fraud and any procedural liability by operations.  Key member of Finance team that maintained a cost accuracy of 99% on operational spend of $1 billion in cost through a detailed accrual process, while putting together a monthly 30-page executive summary explaining unit and volume effects of the operations.

 Designed and managed new invoicing process from operating system to both SAP financial systems in excess of 100 million in annual revenue. Member of a PEX Green Belt project to improve EDI data and create improvement between the operating systems and SAP financial system. Created and lead Power Point presentations to terminals and upper management on process improvements or changes to the invoicing process via Web-ex on a monthly basis.

 Led training for SAP classes on the order to cash process for all end users companywide in classroom setting and remotely. Audit problem accounts to ensure proper invoicing, work with terminal management to take corrective action to remedy errors. Analyzed Business Warehouse reports in SAP to track trends, minimize errors, create SOP’s, and report findings to upper management. Owned all billing for accounting department. Led weekly reconciliation process for invoicing to ensure all invoices reach customers, and correct any invoices that failed in the interface.  Assigned to war room with colleagues from across North America and Canada for 3-month assignment to identify and resolve invoicing errors for matching logic from implementation to SAP from old accounting system. Responsible in war room for creating and managing spreadsheets for all 42 terminals, reporting issues to upper management from SAP implementation on a daily basis. Led company-wide testing for all new country clusters going live with SAP, and ensuring that all transactions are tested, and successful for all departments.
