It is my job to provide specialist and expert level information related to our analysis and design products. I create “train the trainer” level instruction (video and written documentation) with regards to the products and our workflows with third-party applications. I have been with Trimble (formerly Tekla and CSC) for 20 years and I am currently work for the Product Division. I have a proven record of providing successful technical information and implementation of our analysis and design products with our customers.I have previously worked at two structural engineering practices for eight years and have worked on a variety of high profile engineering projects.

In this role, I was the customer’s advocate in the fields of Structural Engineering, BIM workflows, Precast Concrete and Rebar modelling. It was my role to ensure the voice of the customer and feedback was heard and acted upon.During this time, my role was highly customer focused. I formed relationships with our regional offices and reseller channel partners (aligned with the strategic intentions of the product management department) to gather customer feedback and requirements in support of expanding, accelerating and measuring the value that our solutions bring to their businesses. I have worked with providing training and after-sales support to customers around the world on BIM concepts. I am primarily responsible for the testing, training and support of the Trimble Tekla integration software. In this role I have written training manuals, regularly delivered extensive classroom and web training of the latest integration methods. To date, I have successfully trained 500 clients globally on the latest integration methods and more than double this figure on both analysis and design software and current BIM platforms.I work closely with consulting engineers and steelwork fabricators throughout the world assessing their requirements for structural design and the implementation of Structural BIM solutions. I have over 25 years of experience working with 3D modelling solutions and in the Structural Engineering industry in general. I was part of the team working on the successful launch of Tekla Structural Designer with emphasis on the Structural BIM integration. I was also heavily involved with the expansion of the software to new regions of the world.

In time I learned the roles of software development and testing before final release. During this time I was also introduced to CSC-Cad (a ME10 development) and integration with a large range of different software packages whilst also working with regional engineering methods throughout the world.
