As the founder and CEO of Public Safety Research Group, LLC (formerly Toussaint Research Group), based in Louisiana, I lead a national firm specializing in policy development, strategic planning, and reform monitoring for public safety agencies.My career began in 2002 as a military policeman and criminal investigator in the US Army, where I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and was awarded an Army Commendation Medal. Following my military service, I joined my hometown police department, quickly advancing to the rank of Assistant Chief of Police. There, I led a team of 250 professionals and oversaw an operating and grants budget exceeding $70 million per year.
