Senior Operations Analyst
Current- Identified operational improvements from internal casino data with SQL and Excel, which helped to significantly reduce labor costs by up to 10% year over year- Build new SSRS reports via Stored Procedures and alter existing reports based on business needs- Conducted labor studies for various departments (Food & Beverage, Gaming, etc.) to set standards based on Key Performance Indicators- Lead monthly Profit & Loss Meetings with the department Directors / Vice Presidents to discuss the department’s financial health, potential labor savings and future business needs- Prepare the annual Property Budget with over 50 department budgets. Lead regular meetings with Finance, the department leaders, and the Executive Team to refine the budget where needed. Personally responsible for the complete buildout of the final presentation book to the Tribal Council.- Create PowerPoint presentations (> 40 slides) for the Annual Budget Presentation and the Annual Tribal Citizens Meeting- Created a bi-weekly FTE Report for the Executive Team with a FTE Summary, detailed breakdown by department and position, as well as bi-weekly casino statistics such as Slot Coin-in, Table Games Drop and Average Slot/Pit Headcount by day- Provide training and support to internal Team Members on various Business Intelligence reports- Created a monthly Industry Trend Report to track Casino Revenues; this report collects data from 9 States or Regions to show year over year revenue variances and where the overall industry is trending compared to the business- Maintain the bi-weekly finance forecast report; this report is presented to the Executive Team and then to the Tribal Council every two weeks and highlights the financial status (focus on revenue, cost of sales and EBITDA compared to budget) of the property for the quarter, as well as the past and present month- Update/maintain multiple PowerBI dashboards, including data updates and formatting changes
