Writes, implements, and manages Global Workplace safety programs, policies and procedures consistently across all motional sites.Responsible for designing, organizing and maintaining weekly health and safety audits. Develop, maintain and implement facility Emergency Action Plans across all motional sites globally.Build and establish expectations and coach cross-functional team members at each site (engineering, workplace experience, HR, legal and operations) and between vehicle development, testing and other motional site locations.Maintain relevant workplace health and safety logs and documentation to continually ensure the company is prepared to submit all relevant health and safety documents for both internal review and as required by local, state, and federal agencies. Work cross functionally to strengthen and achieve broad cultural change through safety management. Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and company policies and procedures.Handling investigation into all incidents and property damage aligned with the workplace experience and local site directors.Monitor and track the incidents, workers compensation claims and produce reports.

Implementing industry best safety practices and actively support safety programs and initiatives. Lead the environmental health and safety liason program to adopt a behavior based safety approach to design configurations. Updated and revised OSHA required programs including: LOTO, scaffold erection, fall protection, confined space, HAZCOM, Laser Safety. Ability to adapt to growth and change to ensure safety and environmental compliance.Lead injury and illness tracking, case management along with root cause analysis.Keep up to date on process changes and approve any new Job Safety Analysis/ Job Hazard Analysis submissions.Lead incident analysis to determine root cause(s), prevention, and corrective measure.Lead EHS programs such as hazard communication, emergency response, life safety, ergonomics, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, lock-out/tag-out,machine guarding, fall protection, electrical safety, risk assessments, incident management, hazardous waste, and spill prevention.

Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs.Monitor construction activities to ensure that environmental regulations are not violated.Conduct inspections, using survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, or test equipment.Conduct environmental hazard inspections to identify or quantify problems, such as asbestos, poor air quality, water contamination, or other environmental hazards.Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, or radiation levels to verify compliance with health and safety regulations.Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.Interpret safety regulations for others interested in industrial safety, such as safety engineers, labor representatives, and safety inspectors.Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards.Report or review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing.
