As a dedicated Senior Air Traffic Control Manager with 20 years of experience in aerodrome control and approach control, my passion lies in ensuring the highest standard of aviation safety. I actively serve as the secretary of the CANSO Asia Pacific Safety Work Group, collaborating with industry experts to promote safety initiatives and best practices. Additionally, I am honored to be a special member of the CANSO Safety Management System Work Group, contributing to the enhancement of safety protocols in the aviation community.Throughout my career, I have not only led Safety Management Systems (SMS) initiatives but also served as an ATC On-the-Job Training Instructor, guiding and mentoring aspiring air traffic controllers to excel in their roles. Furthermore, I have been an ATC instructor in the academy, imparting essential knowledge and expertise to the next generation of air traffic control professionals.My experience in SMS implementation and human factors has contributed to positive safety outcomes, supporting the safety and efficiency of airspace operations. Currently pursuing a degree in psychology, I am eager to integrate insights into human behavior to further enhance safety measures within the aviation industry.
