Working as a Studio engineer at Volvo buses Is an exciting, evolving and demanding work. I am the link between product design and engineering. I communicate feedback, information and sketching on new innovative solutions, ideas and shapes.Good knowledge of all VBC products on an over-all view and higher detailed level is qualification to handle all variants, customer demands, and quick discussions to get communality between different products.Involvements in feasibilities and pre studies are also part of the work.Visit certain customers and presenting concepts for bigger CA´s and new variants.Be a part of the customer clinics, representing Product Design andCreating and encore Product Design release plans towards the projects.Exterior lightning responsibleThe work mostly includes reviewing and fulfilling legal demands such as homologation and certifications, positions, dimensions and visibilities of all exterior light functions within VBC.Another part of the role description is also to define Lightning roadmaps, valuate upcoming innovations and concepts for the future.

Working with Vacuum formed ABS and glass fibre reinforced polyester with Catia V5 as construction tool. I cooperate a lot with the supplier in this cost saving project. This front module will be suitable to different buses, which means that all the panels needs variants, and this of course do the packaging very difficult. All the panels include a lot of ergonomic demands for vision and space and have to take into consideration, some of those demands have we developed by evaluate existing buses and implement it in the cad world by Catia v5 Human Builder. Special Assignments (On goning) Complete redesigns of both styling and construction surfaces on some panels that where developed in an early face or wrong. Team member in an OD group “Operational Development” to improve the Check Script for Volvo Buses PDM system. The check script controls and checks the cad files before “check in” in the file data base. Tools: Catia V5 & Kola

Consultant within Automotiv as a design engineer.

The commission included packaging work for the FOH (Fuel Operated Heater) in project Y536, and also to reroute the hose for the air intake to fit the complete C1MCA platform. The position also includes being the link between Volvo Cars and the Design Engineer at Eberspächer in Esslingen, Germany. Utvecklingsverktyg: TeamCenter & Catia V5

Worked with carpet systems and insulations on Interior trim department. My main task was concept development and prototyping, were I was using CATIA V5 cad system. My task in Y283/Y352 was insulations and absorbents, the parts were made in heavy layer and foam in most cases. I worked with A-surface design on the front carpets in the Y465 project, there I was fighting with foot zones and ergonomical demands. I even got a commission to construct a hatch back concept. The hatch back concerned textile fiber and polymer. The concept will probably end up with a world wide patent. Tools: Catia V5
