After 20 years in education and with a love for #EdTech, I’ve transitioned into the corporate space. The skills and experiences I gained in education have translated beautifully to my passions in a corporate setting!I'm passionate about Advocacy, specifically creating and growing customer advocacy programs to bring users/customers into the conversation and allowing them to be the stars to tell OUR story. I am passionate about amplifying customer stories and bridging the gap between company and customer in an authentic and compassionate way.Being effective in Customer Advocacy requires a person with an immense ability to communicate, to learn, to connect in authentic ways with users/customers, and to empower everyone around you with creative concepts that are executable. I exemplified all of the above traits during my time as Senior Manager of Global Customer Advocacy and Engagement at one of the premier EdTech companies in the world. Most recently, I have had the opportunity to build a customer advocacy program from scratch with a tech company, while managing monthly customer emails, G2 Review campaigns, and building and delivering a customer story vision for the company.Additionally, I have a proven record of effective social media implementation and engagement at the corporate level. Understanding and catering to the desires of users/customers is the goal. I have proven an ability to pinpoint strategy that will engage and spark positivity on social media. I am adept at delivering what followers/subscribers want, when they want it, and in the manner that makes the most sense. Another way that I have effectively engaged on social media and enhanced user community is through a strong background in public speaking, webinar delivery, keynote/session delivery, and podcasting. I am also a published co-author of Canvas LMS for Dummies.
