About Marcus Paul

Hi, I'm a broadcaster with more than 25 years in the Australian commercial radio industry. I'm currently contracted to The Super Radio Network, presenting my own Program called Marcus Paul In The Morning. The show is broadcast on Sydney's 2SM and Network stations from 5am-9am each Monday to Friday. The show is also the official fill in for the John Laws Morning Show.Marcus Paul In The Morning is a fast-paced contemporary news and current affairs talk back program broadcast across Australia on the Supernetwork. Featuring the days top stories and issues affecting Australian's, we offer listeners the opportunity to air their views on the open line or via email and social media.We break news as it happens, and often speak with the news makers themselves.We also air concerns affecting regional and rural communities affected by droughts, bush fires and other natural disasters.Importantly, the program aims to offer balanced views - and we are always ensuring to hear all sides of an issue.Even though Marcus is usually not one to sit on the fence, he is also tolerant and patient with those expressing a different point of view.Often the program will entertain with music, some comedy and satirical segments - and the occasional terrible joke.We want to inform and entertain, and aim to keep listeners by their radio's or computers - waiting to hear what's next! It also snares the big entertainment artists who visit the National Capital, and Marcus is passionate about taking up the fight for locals who have been caught up in issues such as Mr Fluffy asbestos. As a Journalist, Marcus knows where to find a compelling story, and is viewed as a compassionate interviewer.
