The Department does this by integrating capabilities and talent from across Sandia to provide target rocket and missile systems and components, prototype rocket and missile technologies, countermeasure systems, flight test systems, and analysis, modeling and simulation to support warfighter technology planning, development and integration for air and space defense and power projection.

Co-Founder and designer for JM 3D Designs. in an effort to increase my Mechanical Engineering and Prototyping skills, I bought a 3D printer for use at home. It did not take long to expand this happy and growing experience into a business. We now own 10 3D printer split amounst us and have a Glowforge laser marker/engraver. Search for us on esty.com.

I was an instructor for two labs for the Instrumentations class. My job included setting up labs and helping students with problems that might arise. I am also the grader for both of these labs.

Performed bonding and routing of composites to assemble a low cost innovative precision deployable, 10 meter prototype truss for testing of mission feasibility and new technology development.Wrote bonding and assembly procedures for prototype build and technical papers of work completed.Worked cooperatively with a team of interns and led team of interns in second year of internship.Attained knowledge in precision manufacturing of hardware, hands on feel of hardware, and component integration in assembly.Conducted offloading of truss using a Gravity Compensation Fixture(GCF) using pulleys and counter weights.
