a formal account of my professional experience during my tenure at Diesel Electric Services (DES) from the commencement of my employment on 02/12/2013 until my departure on 29/06/2023.I joined DES immediately upon completing my college education, undertaking the role of an apprentice. During my initial years, I gained valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical work, including wiring, dummy loads, control panels, distribution boards (DBs), engines, and containerized sets. I also had the privilege of contributing to the wiring activities in the new design office.In 2015, I successfully obtained a red seal qualification at Qualitas Training Centre, solidifying my foundational knowledge. Subsequently, I continued my work within the workshop for an additional two years, occasionally accompanying teams to on-site locations. During this period, I achieved a significant milestone by installing my first generator in the newly acquired Panel shop building.From 2017 until my departure in June 2023, my role primarily focused on participating in the construction of numerous electrical installations and overseeing the commissioning of DBs, control panels, and generators. I was often involved in cable work and diesel systems, ensuring all tasks met the required standards and obtaining approvals from consulting engineers overseeing installations across South Africa. This period provided me with exposure to basic programming of  Deep Sea controllers, and I earned a certificate in switching MV switchgear, expanding my expertise in various facets of the power generation industry.I am proud to have been an integral part of the DES team and am grateful for the opportunities for growth and development that the company has provided me. I believe that my experiences at DES have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set and a deep understanding of the power generation sector.And the new exciting journey started at USP&E June 2023 where I have been learning a new set of skills in the industry
