Plans, organizes and schedules work assigned to the Material Management Branch. Ensures work (to include recurring and special reports) is accurate and submitted within established deadlines. Plans work schedule to provide appropriate coverage to support customers. Provides technical assistance, instruction and guidance on supply procedures to MEARNG supply personnel. Responsible for budgeting and executing ASP Funds. Performs independent surveys and studies of state logistical operation for supply Class I, II, III, V, VIII and IX to determine proper application of improved supply methods. Analyzes data and statistics extracted from logistical data repositories to ensure adequacy and accuracy of in-state logistics procedures and functions. Develops and establishes controls to identify systemic problems and enhance mission accomplishment. Publishes the Material Management Branch Standard Operating Procedures and commodity polices and guidelines to determine and analyze trends in effectiveness and efficiency to be used for improving undesirable conditions, accountability of items, expenditure of funds and management of resources within the state and ensuring proper use of Class I, II, III, V, VIII, & IX supplies and stewardship of government funds.
