The Client List Screening (“CLS”) Quality Assurance (“QA”) Team is an integral part of the controls environment within Compliance and is responsible for conducting a continuous testing program against internal procedures to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy. The CLS QA team supports the testing of activities performed by several Compliance and Client Screening Unit (“CSU”) teams that support the firm’s Global Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Prevention Program. The CLS QA team tests the clearing process to ensure a correct disposition decision was documented. Screening types include, but may not be limited to, the alerts generated due to potential OFAC, FinCEN314(a) requests, Level 3 (L3) Screening, Negative Media, PEP, International Sanctions, Internal Watch Lists (including SPOI, TRMRL, Anti-Corruption, DJT), GSM Mailbox, SPOI Maintenance, and Internal Watch List Maintenance. The testing population is based on a statistical sampling & risk based model. These reviews are conducted utilizing a testing approach, with criticality ratings assigned to test scripts.
