Working in the Tax Collections Department on behalf of the States of Pennsylvania, Vermont and North Carolina. My daily activities included contacting taxpayers to discuss resolution to their tax debt, verifying information of the debt on SAP system to establish payment arrangements and address any incoming tax correspondence. I maintained approximately 2700 accounts per month utilizing the Cubs Collections software and internet skip tracing techniques to locate them for contact.

As a Surveying Technician in the Survey Division I was in the field on several surveying projects but mainly Managed Projects receiving survey requests from new and existing clients, receiving and providing survey data for two field crews. Preparing Base Mapping, Existing Conditions Plans, Subdivision Plans, ALTA/ASCM Surveys, Cellular Tower Surveys, Site Asbuilts and Stakeouts, Grade Sheets and Grading Plans. I visited and contacted various Township, County Courthouses and State offices to do research on deeds, tax parcels and right-of-ways. I worked mainly with AutoCAD LDD 2007, Civil 3D and Map. In the field we used Sokia Total Station and Radian GPS instruments to record and prepare survey data.

As an Engineering / Surveying Technician and Project Manager I worked on land development and site development projects receiving and providing survey data for two field crews. Preparing Site Plans, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys base mapping, Subdivisions and ALTA/ASCM Surveys, Grading Plans, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plans, Detail Sheets, Pre/Post Development Plans, PennDOT HOP Plans as well as many other plans, details and exhibits using AutoCAD version 12 through Land Desktop 2005. I maintained the GPS Base Station and I was also trained by veteran Surveyor Gerald R. Grove, PLS in the field to perform Boundary, Topographic and Site Surveys with a Nikon DTM Instrument using TDS data collectors. I worked as party chief of the field crew on several projects doing calculations in the field on a laptop computer over the years. We used Trimble Office software and had Trimble GPS 4600, 4700 and 4800 systems and TSC1 data collectors.

I began my career as a Board Drafter on the Co-Op program thru Dauphin County Technical School, I worked the summer going into my senior year of High School through my graduation. I drafted in Ink and learned how to prepare plans, make edits to existing drawings, profiles and cross sections and prepare Plan sets and prints, organize files, and make deliveries. As an Engineering Technician computers became more prevalent we worked mainly with AutoCAD versions 7 thru 12. I worked on many different plans associated with the Site and Land Development process, preparing something as minor as an edit to an Existing Boundary Survey Plan or the intricate designs of Site Development plans. My work involved drafting Plan Sets with topography, Property lines, site plans, sanitary and storm sewers, grades, profiles, cross sections, tabulations, miscellaneous details. Traveling to courthouses for research, tax mapping, traffic counts, placing traffic counting devices, acquiring and delivering plans.
