Overseen the mechanical installation at the New Irving Shipyard Fabrication Facility. Mid 2014 - Mid 2015Assisted in the installation of the Canadian Nuclear Laboratory, in Chalk River Ont. Mid 2015 - Mid 2016Assisted in the renovation of the Credit Valley Hospital, while the Hospital was still in Operation, Mis 2016 - 2017

Hired as a Pipe Fitter/ Plumber, to work on various retrofit projects within the Toronto area. After 4 months, I was given the opportunity to work as a mechanical foreman, coordinating all the sub trades involved with retro fit projects. and have worked in this capacity ever since. The following projects I have managed under my watch for Bird Mechanical:Fairview Mall - 3 boiler replacement,Toronto Police Headquarters - Installation of 2 back up generators, with one remote radiator system to roof level, complete with UPS Switch Gear, Backup battery system, exhaust system and piping, College Street and Bay Street, Toronto Dominion Centre, (6 Office Tower Complex)-retrofitting the heating system in Tower 2 Mechanical floors, Domestic Water Pump replacement ,Tower's 2 and 5 . various smaller retrofit projects through out Tower's 1 thru 6, Campbell Soup Headquarters, Canada -Installation of a heat recovery system, added on to boiler systems at Campbell's Soup Plant.The Final 2 years spent supervising, coordinating , and managing the Mechanical Services Construction of the New Toronto Transit Commission, TTC , Steeles West Subway Station complete with a Bus Station for TTC. Sub Trades under Bird Mechanical that I managed, Sheet Metal/Ductwork/Fans etc. (Black & McDonald), Controls, BAC Systems, (Johnson Controls), Insulation of Piping and Ductwork ( Icon Insulation), Fire Stop of all penetrations (Pro Fire Stop). and various smaller Sub Trades, along with running the Bird Mechanicals crew installing the water, venting, Drainage systems in the new Subway Station. Other duties were ordering material, Producing RFI's ( Requests for Information), developing solutions to design flaws and submitting them for approval, and receiving approvals. I also attended meetings with our client, Walsh Construction Company of Canada, and TTC, planning and organizing the work loads of our crew.

Hired on as a Pipe Fitter to work on piping from 3/4" to 24" pipe, for a new 3 boilerCo- Gen Power Generator. Most of the work involved running the pipe from Drip Pan Elbows, coming off of pressure relief valves, up thru the roof 150' above the finished floor. Calculating the lengths and the offsets to fabricate in one piece and lift up into place.

Hired on as a pipe fitter, working new construction in the downtown core.

Hired on to supervise the installation of the Small bore Piping on the top of 2 Alstrom boilers at a CoGeneration Power Plant Construction, at the Portlands Energy Centre. I also took care of piping on the lower levels of the boilers with pipe anywhere between 1/2" to 16" pipe, ranging from Steel to Stainless to Chrome Pipe. Also installed control sensors and tubings on the boilers. I had charge of a crew of between 12 to 14 men, working on both Boilers simultaneously.

Hired on as a Pipe Fitter installing blow off stack piping from Drip pan Elbows on pressure relief valves up 125' feet thru the roof to atmosphere, and various small bore steel piping.

Hired on as a pipe fitter for a scheduled outage/shutdown of one of their reactors, promoted to Foreman and then to General Foreman, worked thru 3 consecutive scheduled outage/ shutdown. Also controlled projects and modifications between shut downs, such as complete gut and install of new designed cafeteria, pipe work on fibreglass piping in the Vacuum Building, with direct communication to the shift managers of the reactors ,a Critical Path Project. having to work with thousands of an inch in allowable movement on the fibreglass piping.

Hired on as a preventative maintenance plumber, following a preventative maintenance program on pumps, fixtures etc, also provide civil feed for exhibitor booths for various shows held at Exhibition Place.

Hired on as a Pipe fitter for a scheduled Shut down of the Refinery.

Hired on as a pipe fitter, to assist the installation of piping systems for the heating and cooling systems in a Heritage Building in the Distillery District of Toronto.

Hired to Provide additional support for the Canadian National Exhibition. My duties included providing water / drainage services for event exhibitors thru out the park, and maintain the facilities

Worked as a pipe fitter with steel,stainless and chrome piping systems for the Co Generator, at the Central Utilities Plant for Pearson International Airport

Supervised the installation of new and Retrofit Piping systems on Flare Stacks Cracker Towers, Steam Systems, Oil Blending Systems. Overseeing 3 to 4 projects all running at the same time, with a crew of 8 to 10 men under my charge.

Running of the daily activities of a company, involved with installing Industrial Paint Finishing Equipment and industrial process equipment. Installed and or moved Paint systems, Wire Cableing Process Equipment , in country and Cross border. Direct involvement in the planing and execution of the installations, with the design team and owners. Installed Equipment for Magna International, Knoll Manufacturing Ford NewHolland, JLG, Essex Group Cableing systems, John Manville, Volkswagen Canada, AG Simpson, TimberJack, Hayes Dana, just to name a few.

Began my apprenticeship at Markham-Stouffeville Hospital, working in the boiler and mechanical rooms, within 1 month paid and worked as a Journeyman for the rest of the apprenticeship due to previous experience. Near the end of my Apprenticeship I was charged with holding weekly safety meetings. I worked in both the Plumbing and Pipe fitting fields. Supervise and install Industrial Paint Finishing Equipment , in the following countries, Israel, Iran, Scotland, Venezuela, and the eastern United States, Mexico, as well as Ontario, Canada. Supplied Turnkey System, which involved the installation of Industrial Conveyors, Power Washer, Dry Off, Bake, Cure Ovens, Spray booths, Robots, Paint Kitchens and associated paint delivery systems, Environmental systems, managed all paper work to keep project progressing forward. attended meetings to streamline installation with design team and customer.
