Dr. Marcus Schüller, PartnerMarcus is a Senior Partner at Roland Berger, member of the Operations Team. He is an expert in procurement and supply chain management. Internally Marcus takes care for recruiting new colleagues on all levels for the Operations Team.Prior to this and his roles in KPMG he used to work for BrainNet since 1998, one of the leading international brands for supply chain consulting which he sold with his Partner colleagues in July 2012 to KPMG. Marcus has over 20 years of business and consulting experience in different industries and services. He has an in-depth knowledge in all procurement relevant areas as well as in supply chain management. His fields of special interest and expertise cover everything from cost reduction to transformation of operating models. Best value country sourcing (Eastern Europe, India, China, Brasil), sustainability in the supply chain up to process and organisational design for state-of-the-art procurement functions and all challenges at the interface between finance, operations and procurement are vital parts of his track record. He led large global transformation programs covering the Americas, Europe, Middle-East and China/India. Marcus´ industry and business experience is broad: his clients are large groups and leading mid-cap companies, especially brand driven and high quality driven enterprises. He is dedicated particularly to Household Appliances, Automotive, Technology, Utility, Health Care and Medical Technology, Consumer Goods, Off-Highway and Heavy Duty Machinery as well as Machine Building.After the sell of BrainNet to KPMG Marcus lead KPMG´s global procurement advisory network from 2014 - 2019. He was as well responsible for Operations Consulting in Germany before transitioning 2019 into his role at Roland Berger.Prior to joining BrainNet he worked as a scientific assistant at Cologne University and internationally in sales for a world leader of refrigeration equipment.Marcus holds a diploma in business administration from the leading German University at Cologne. He added his doctoral level (PhD) at Cologne University. As German national, he speaks German and English.
