Marcus Seger represents clients in disputes as well as in transactions and regulatory matters. Marcus Seger has been a counsel in international and national arbitrations under various arbitration rules as well as ad hoc proceedings. He has also been a counsel in civil litigations concerning a multitude of industries. Having a particular interest in corporate governance, he regularly advises clients in respect of shareholders’ agreements, rights issues, M&A, minority rights, squeeze-outs, general meetings, claims against board members and several other company law matters. Additionally, Marcus Seger has negotiated and drafted commercial contracts across a broad range of business sectors for domestic and international clients since he first joined Magnusson in 2016. Moreover, he is experienced in representing listed companies and their shareholders in relation to inter alia takeover offers, market manipulation matters, public relations, capital increases, special examinations, closely related parties’ transactions and in investigations by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Previously, Marcus Seger has served as a law clerk at the Office of the Chancellor of Justice and in Stockholm District Court.
