Act as a leader and mentor in the dorm in order to assist the residents in their growth and development.Be available to listen to resident’s problems and complaints.Assist students with questions regarding campus life.Organize weekly devotions and/or activities in coordination with your dorm parent and the Campus Ministers for your hall residents. (Leadership training during the first Thursday of the Fall semester along with D-Group leaders)Report to your Resident Hall Director and the V.P. of Student Services information they should know regarding your resident’s progress, difficulties, and concerns.Convey information from the V.P. for Student Services or the Resident Hall Directors to your residents.Explain and encourage adherence to the guidelines of the Student Handbook.Report in writing any violations of the Student Handbook.Assist in securing the dorms at curfew.Report maintenance problems.
