My daily tasks were focused on: candidate generation, connecting with as many potential candidates as possible via LinkedIn or other job directory sites, cold calling or using warm leads to get in contact with professionals with the right skills, scheduling calls/meetings with clients, qualifying professionals, following up with our legal and compliance departments, negotiating and closing deals, sending InMail's/Emails to the best candidates out of my talent pools to market new roles and posting online to build out my brand visibility as well as offering services, such as up-to-date on market data. My many roles at EuropaFoodXb were the most challenging to date. I had a variety of roles and responsibilities and achieved great success. The most difficult thing for me during this job (at first) was the ability to maintain a professional level of communication, and not overreact emotionally when faced with difficult situations; but, (through the support of my colleagues) I learned to be more open and vocal when discussing ways to improve the work environment/sales or express any problems I may have or need. During my time at P3, I was a playworker for a number of different play centres around London England. My role at P3 was to facilitate games and activities for kids in primary school; this could mean playing dodgeball, doing arts and crafts, going on day trips, and more. Later during my time with the company, I was tasked with creating my own activities for kids to play. While I’ve taken away many things from my time here, I think most important is being able to think beyond my own needs and how I can be helpful to not only my community as a whole but, the people (children) who depended on/anticipated me and my colleague's arrival every day. At the Damilola Taylor Centre, I worked as a youth worker, overseeing the many activities the youth centre offered during the summer for youths aged 12-17 which included 5 a-side football, table tennis, cooking and more, making sure the youths were involved and proactive. I also came up with new activities to take part in, to encourage teamwork and other invaluable skills that need to be learnt in everyday life.
