During our sessions we use music, social media, popular culture, dialogue and our personal narratives to:•Explore the power of images and how they impact culture•Recognize the importance of building relationships, which honor, respect and reflect positive self- imageStudents create three written pieces from writing prompts focused on three specific lenses. •Personal: This is who I am •Family: The people who know me •Global Community: My connections to others in this world TYPE OF SERVICE: Performance Poetry, Personal Narrative & Oral History-•Modules are a la cart and are produced in 45, 60 & 90 minute sessions. We offer project modules as one-day workshops, train-the-trainer, short-term projects of three, six or nine sessions and the full twelve sessions.
