Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts. Process GSK documents through the CLASS import system and interface with other systems to provide updates and communications for internal and external customers to produce timely and compliant customs brokerage transactions.Obtain Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and insuring invoicing for GSK is completed accurately and within the timeframe consistent with the import account and company policy.Serve as a single point of coordination between import customers (internal and external) and US Customs and Border Protection and insure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with GSK and company objectives.Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments using judgment and knowledge, referring more technical questions to the Team Leader or Licensed Broker for response.Maintain a consistently high level of customer service to both external and internal customers.Develop a high level of understanding of the organization's structure, inter-department relationships, regulatory compliance and the company's policies and procedures.Coordinate with sales and operations to implement and maintain client standard operating procedures.Provide day-to-day contact with clients on operational issues.Coordinate customer service efforts from all offices and departments involved with assigned accounts.Ensure services are meeting or exceeding customer requirements and are in compliance with ISO procedures.Resolve problems and recommend solutions to prevent similar occurrences.Dispatch trucks to deliver freight from ocean ports and airports located nationwide including Canada and Mexico.  Enters shipments, Point to Points, and MO's in World-Port.Communicate closely with stations, consignees, Brokerage department.
