Going into my third year of the Juris Doctorate program at Thompson Rivers University, I am currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief (Administrative) of the TRU Law Review and Co-President of the Business Law Society. This summer, I joined McCarthy Tétrault (Calgary) as a summer student. My time in law school isn't just about studying; it's about networking and refining my skills for the legal profession.During my undergraduate studies at Mount Royal University, I received my degree degree with honours in Criminal Justice and a minor in History. My thesis delved into the correlation between PTSD symptoms among residential school survivors and criminal behavior, allowing me to enhance my research and analytical abilities.After graduation, I entered the dynamic field of construction in Calgary, specializing in erosion and sediment control. In this fast-paced environment, I developed leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.The combination of academic learning and practical experience has been invaluable during my time in law school. Moving forward, I am committed to further honing these skills to ensure my success in the legal field.
