Graduate Mechanical Engineer, working in projects and continuous improvement. In this role I learn from senior engineers, designing/managing upgrade projects on the production line at AKD’s Caboolture Timber Processing Plant. I have gained experience working with major sawing equipment, boiler and steam plant, wastewater treatment design and timber grading/quality. Other experiences include design audits for maintenance, timber drying research/development, environmental monitoring, fabrication design work and hands on equipment installation.

Working as an undergraduate mechanical engineer under the Asset Management and Maintenance department. In this role I organise reactive and preventative maintenance, receiving engineering experience from my supervising and Senior Engineers in HVAC, electrical, hydraulic and fire systems. Work experience includes; management of maintenance, design and construction contracts, stakeholder engagement, root cause analysis and development of maintenance schedules.

In 2019 I was successful in my application for Brisbane City Council's Cadetship Program (for undergraduate students). As my first engineering role in the real world I worked as part of an engineering and design team, maintaining and upgrading Brisbane's bus fleet. My work experience involved design of systems/parts, manufacturing, drafting, root cause analysis and data analysis.
