Bus Driver

• Responsible for all activities taken on by his/her platoon• Primary decision maker emergency situations, incident response, matters involving tenant concerns, complaints, service requirement etc.• In absence of the senior security leadership team, provides council to senior management during the initial stages of a security/safety related crisis or potentially significant incident• Ensures security operations occur consistent with policy, Standing orders and rule of law• Supervises, coaches, responsible to ensure staff are equipped and uniformed prior to signing on duty.• Inspection of security personnel • Inspection of all memo books,completion of daily shift briefings and parade.• Responsible for coordinating and documenting general training of security personnel in their platoon• Responsible for overseeing new candidate training to include training performed by field training officers• Responsible for documenting /reporting all instances to Security Leadership whereby a new candidate during their probationary period is not performing to the Standard and may not be eligible for continued placement at Commerce Court• Ensures incident reports are properly completed • Ensure accurate completion of all time sheets• Ensures that the Code for Conduct and Professional Standards is applied for disciplinary action in a consistent manner and for all instances• Assess the impact of incidents, works closely with other stakeholders and takes action to mitigate business impact• May lead or assist with investigation of crimes, employee/tenant misconduct.• Serves as the principle point of contact with public safety agencies attending at Commerce Court in response to emergency situations• Identifies security awareness deficiencies, makes recommendations as appropriate• Issues security equipment to security personnel ensuring equipment is properly signed out and returned in good order• Regular auditing Keys, pass cards, security equipment

• Set up and monitoring of new clients and contracts• Officer scheduling full time/call ups, book offs/no shows• Client Invoice/billing• Payroll discrepancies• Payroll reports i.e. overhead/non billable and overtime budgets• All Union disputes and negotiations, (Teamsters)• Data entry• Recruitment and hiring of potential airport security officer/ supervisor candidates• Set up of licensing/personnel data entry and payroll• Employee review, promotions, and disciplinary actions• Set up of new security formats and training for guards and supervisors
