I am a B.S. Electrical Engineering student at Milwaukee School of Engineering with strong academic performance and hands-on team-based and individual engineering project experience. I have skills in C, C++, VHDL, Circuit Analysis in AC and DC systems, and MATLAB. I am seeking an internship during the summer months.I grew up in the suburbs but I mainly stayed in during my free time. In particular I played a lot of games, but what perhaps has changed me more is my start on toys like Legos. Of course, I did not think about it at the time, but I always loved putting something together that I was proud of. At one point as a kid my dream job was to be an inventor, which is quite similar to the final result, here. In high school I took some engineering classes (Project Lead the Way) which only solidified my plans as an engineer. In senior year, even I realized that my passion for "making" is not limited to engineering, as I joined a woodworking class. When I have the chance to (I live in a dorm right now), I will probably take woodworking on as a hobby.Right now at MSOE, I'm taking classes in circuit design involving AC and transients, digital systems, and more. At MSOE I've made a single cycle processor from scratch, learned how to make a microprocessor in an HDL using Quartus Prime, I've learned how to code in C, how to code in VHDL, etc. Right now, the big project is one where we've had to decide on our problem ourselves, but we're using VHDL to make a microprocessor that can interface with an FPGA or other devices to solve the problem.Ever since I started taking engineering classes and continuing into my stay at MSOE, the projects and assignments have been as varied as they were numerous. Most of these were working with 2-3 others, and I much prefer those ones over the solo ones. My favorite by far was my senior project in high school, where me and 3 of my friends made a bike tire pressure sensor device to notify a user if their tires are outside of the recommended pressure range without causing too much distraction or being too difficult for a casual user to implement. In this project (google site linked in my featured), I felt that we all worked great together and made a great product. Now in college, since I work with a lot more people who I don't know that well, I've taken a more active role in a lot of groups. Many people are quite talented but need to be pushed into action.
