I started at Access as Business Process Manager (Operations) This was an interim role as the business was going though a significant change in its senior leadership team. The role was designed to transition into Regional or head of department role when a position became available. I personally developed sales refreshers and the new coaching regime for the business. I helped induct and supported the new learning and development manager deliver training and skill development sessions to the senior leadership team including training regional managers.Within this role I reviewed and improved internal reference information and ease of accessibility, streamlined the internal call review process and reporting of key KPI measures for the operations teams.As the role transitioned I was given full operational accountability to support key operational sites that were of commercial importance. Key achievements during this time was the launch of the new High Wycombe storage and office site. Also the redevelopment and extension of Kings Cross storage and office site.Whilst operationally supporting Kings Cross and High Wycombe sites, I was also the regional manager for Wimbledon, Acre Lane (Clapham), Wandsworth and Battersea Sites.

I took a year out of industry to follow one of my hobbies and help a friend who was having his first child and help transform his business.LR-XS is a thriving specialist maintenance and restoration workshop specialising in the Land Rover product. They have a team of highly skilled mechanics and engineers who truly can do anything with Land Rovers from 1948 - 2016. The work they complete ranges from basic servicing and maintenance to a full nut and bolt strip, paint and rebuild. Customer commissions can be in excess of £100,000.My role for the year was to review and update all processes, overhaul supplier agreements and improve buying margins whilst increasing speeds of supply and delivery. I took an active role in customer projects , negotiations and marketing, increasing our social media appeal. Many of our customer vehicles were shipped or driven from all over the world. During this time we improved productivity and turn around times for projects, increased capacity, team head count and as a consequence turnover and bottom line profit.

I led the key London sites for Safestore as a Regional Manager. This was the highest revenue region for Safestore. Key sites included Kings Cross, Camden Town, Camden London Euston, Battersea Ingate Place, Battersea Business Centre, Battersea Lombard, Wimbledon, Chelsea (Fortbox acquisition ), St John’s Wood (Fortbox acquisition ) Mitcham, Carshalton. I motivated and developed high performing teams that lead the business for customer conversion and NOI growth. I delivered new store opening projects for Chiswick, Mitcham, Carshalton and the redevelopment of the Wimbledon site. This included recruiting and training new teams and delivery of the completed sites. I supported the Space Maker integration in Brentford and delivered the Fort Box Acquisition (Chelsea and St John’s Wood) including the full team integration in the Safestore way of working.As part of my role I evolved and delivered sales refreshers, coaching training, coach the coach development and support. My region was seen as the exemplar for operational delivery, coaching and conversion growth. We trailed many of the new initiatives over the years which were integrated into the business way of working. I personally supported and hosted investor tours with the CEO.

I was responsible for two geographical regions which included 12 rental sites and 7 service and repair workshops and 8 mobile service and repair vans.As the Area Operations Manager I was responsible for P&L, KPI and customer satisfaction. The teams I managed were responsible for 7500 LCV’s.
