The time was challenging and rewarding. In a small company you need to work with everything and even if you put in a lot of hours the time is newer enough. Fn SoldatFörsvarsmakten Jun 2003 - Dec 2003Pristina, District Of Pristina, KosovoKS08 var namnet på den 8:e svenska kontingenten i Kosovo; en fredsbevarande enhet som Sverige skickade till Kosovo. KS08 övertog ansvaret den 14 juni 2003 och bestod av en bataljon samt ytterligare förband och stabsofficerare, tjänstgörande vid brigadstaben och HQ KFOR. KS08 bestod av strax över 600 män och kvinnor.Under insatsen tillhörde jag SL som var stationerade på Camp Victoria. Vår pluton jobbade mot etnisk relaterad brottslighet och för att ta bort så många vapen som möjligt. Detta innebar bland annat att göra tillslag mot hus som bedömdes intressanta. Under perioden ansvarade vi också för den tidigare presidenten Bill Clintons säkerhet under några dagar när han besökte Pristina.
