- Successfully completed an intensive project case competition with 4 well-trained teams. Case focused on applying data analysis skills to solve real world simulated client challenges and requests related to: analyzing customer loss and root causes, evaluating new business opportunities, summarizing results and proposing strategic recommendations. Exercise resulted in group presentations where root cause issues were identified and corrective actions were proposed based on findings - Series offered opportunities to closely collaborate with a diverse team of students, divide/conquer tasks and efficiently coordinate efforts to solve complex client requests under tight timelines. Responsibilities included the ordering and procurement of materials for a lab, as well as using aseptic techniques in cell culture.

Synthetic Studies towards Lonazolac: A (3+2) Cycloaddition Approach. This project focused on the exploration of multiple synthetic routes towards the formation of Lonazolac via a (3+2) cycloaddition, rather than the typical condensation reaction. Grant Spoors supervised this project.

Oversee students in the laboratory to ensure that reactions are carried out smoothly and safely. Out-of-lab work includes taking helping students with analysis or understanding content, running NMRs, and preparing chemicals.

-Maintained the garden by weed whacking and manual weeding, pruning, raking and mulching.-Did general yard work such as removing outside fixtures, taking up trash, and draining hoses for winter.

This internship aimed to find alternate syntheses of Lonazolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It also featured the purification and spectroscopic characterizations via TLC and NMR of each step of the synthesis. A poster of the motives, data, and results of my internship was made for a symposium.

My virtual internship focused on literature analyses to plan experiments for post-COVID ventures. I entered and organized the data and results of previous seniors' chemical research into more concise tables and documents.
