Overseeing performance of the finishing department, and performing process improvement tasks, using lean principles (including RCA, DMAIC, and PDCA). Improvement projects included upgrade to breakout infeed (improved PPM by 10% and reduce machine entries by 90%), and implementing lean methodology (5S and SMED training for operators). During this time also picked up planning duties for periods, implementing planning for Finishing Department and overseeing entire JHNZ production.
