Ramp Controller at SEATAC. Fun job, moving planes to and from designated points into and out of their gates. Like working Ground at ANC except we hand them off to ground control at a certain spot.

I get to see all of the University of Alaska Anchorage sports working as a Guest Services agent,also concerts. My duties include ticketing, general roaming, helping people to their seats, basic cpr, etc. It is a fun part time job, and I bid on what I wish to work when I go home every few weeks. The people are great to work with, and it is a lot of fun. I can not see myself quitting this job for any reason.

I was a golf course starter/assistant at a 36 hole golf facility in Anchorage Ak, It is a fun summer job, and a good one to ease into retirement. The benefits are awesome, as are the people I work with. I am totally enjoying interacting with the public again! I get to talk to every person on the course, and it is a ton of fun!

My responsibilities included the "Safe, orderly and expeditious flow" of Air Traffic. I made decisions independent of others to ensure separation of aircraft at all times. When I was a "Controller in Charge (CIC)", I directed up to 15 people in my shift. That included assigning positions, training, breaks, rotation, and briefings. Also while acting as CIC, I worked closely with the airport in coordinating runway and ramp closures, parking of aircraft issues, and numerous other items as they came up. As a Certified controller, I acted as a CIC for at least an hour almost every shift, and for at least half of my shift on Mid-night shifts.
