I held responsibility for the Victoria and Tasmanian local transportation distribution, Interstate transport distribution (road, rail and sea line haul) as well as the Toyota export program and vehicle processing yard at the Toyota Altona Plant and Webb Dock West. My remit included an annual budgeted revenue of $78 million and Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) return of $3.9 million generated over 500,000 vehicle movements, with approximately 190 staff, including operations managers, fleet controllers, training and quality staff and drivers in my reporting line.

Manufacturing and packaging specialist:As part of the Production Manager role I consolidated the packaging operations in Melbourne and Sydney with the relocation into a new facility in the Sydney Western suburbs. I managed this operation until it was moved offshore in 2005. During peak periods the workforce numbered approximately 90 staff, with an annual production volume of 4.5 million units across a sku range of 400-500 products.
