The multidisciplinary intervention team (MIT) focuses on uncovering and sustainably disrupting criminal networks and their business processes. The team does this by breaking down the positions of power of key figures together with its partners, confiscating criminal assets and erecting barriers against criminal activity and obtaining black money. This involves international operations, with a focus on source, transit and destination countries of the illegal drug industry and on logistics hubs such as ports and airports. MIT operates in addition to – and in conjunction with – existing services addressing subversion. Private partners, such as banks and logistics companies, are also working together to expose vulnerabilities in legal economic structures and jointly erect barriers to abuse by criminals.

Significant is an independent research and consultancy firm for the public sector. I have carried out assignments (as project manager) for: - organizational advice and development; - policy development and implementation; - improvement of business operations such as development of a management and funding system; - quantitative and qualitative research. - Big and small data analyses; - new applications with data (such as text mining, dashboarding and profiling).

The Public Prosecution Service actively maintains the foundations of the legal order. In the criminal field, this means investigating crimes and prosecuting them. In addition, I assessed a wide variety of cases, including customization and common crime of minors and adults.I also worked for the Z(o) S(soon) M(possible) project, in which direct contact with the police regarding the arrested suspect was central. The case was assessed at an early stage and chain partners (such as Victim Support Netherlands and Probation Service) were informed. I helped the organization with the further development of the (local) ZSM project.
