Manage/develop asset protection programs related to the distribution center (DC) and maintain compliance with the Kroger Logistics Asset Protection Policy manual. As a Loss Prevention Manager, you will oversee all loss prevention aspects of the business, while supporting procedures and efforts to safeguard company assets, prevent and minimize theft, and reduce shortages and fraud. This includes physical assets such as money and vehicles, as well as time theft and compliance issues.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelops and delivers loss prevention training programs for all team members.Oversees the installation of new security equipment such as safes, surveillance cameras, and other electronic security devices.Identifies, recommends, and implements systems to minimize loss of inventory, money, or company assets.Audits and investigates sources of known losses.Makes recommendations on corrective action based upon findings of investigations.Monitors inventory to identify theft or shortages.Investigates suspicious customer and/or team member’s activity.Conducts periodic inspections of dealerships and facilities to ensure surveillance and security. equipment is functioning properly.Prepares reports of effectiveness of established prevention measures.Researches, suggests, and implements additional security measures.Performs other duties as needed.Requirements IncludeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Strong knowledge of loss prevention equipment, software, and systems.Extensive knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention strategies and procedures.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and documentation.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred.Five years of experience in retail loss prevention, security, or law enforcement required.Some management experience preferred.
