A little about myself. My name is Marcus Vickers I live in Baton Rouge LA. I'm a God fearing family man and hunter and fisherman in my free time. I also believe in working hard for what you want in life, no exceptions.I have done manually labor all my life. I wasn't cut out for a suit and tie. I enjoy working outdoors and getting the sense of accomplishment after a hard day's work. Work History Currently working for Enterprise ProductsStarted August 2015 to Current Job.Responsibilities are Tow building, Securing barges to various docks and structures. Working with the Captain or Pilot on watch to navigate through various locks and flood gates. Chipping, sanding and painting etc of vessel. Daily clean up duties and cooking. Working in the most safe way possible using team work. Lamar Advertising Started July 2014 to October 2014(Responsibilities) As followed. Load up work truck with assigned billboards to be installed that day. Travel through out Baton Rouge to install and or do maintenance on billboards. Put out pads upon arrival to level boom truck. Check climbing gear daily before any climbing to take place. Cross check via cellphone that correct billboard is being installed. Team work removing old billboard and lower it safely to the ground to be folded and brought back to the shop. Bay Ltd. Started January 2013 to April 2014(Responsibilities) As followed. Worked as a Rigger certified by Shell Roberts Training Center as a Offshore Pedestal General Lifting Appliance Rigger. OPS0055/PH4146. Worked on Shell Auger, Olympus and Ram Powell platforms. Worked with various air tools such as needle guns, Saw all's, Mag drills, Hilti guns, etc. Also set up chain fall and come alongs for various rigging situations. Assisted in building Scaffolding at different locations on the rig. Wrote JSA prior to the job.
