About Marcus Whithorne
Marcus began working with the Grossman Burn Foundation in August of 2013. His background in research and public service allow him to work adeptly as GBF’s primary grant writer and program coordinator.Marcus’ passion to work on behalf of burn survivors and their families stems from his personal experience as a burn survivor. Since his initial injury in 1989, Marcus has had seven successful operations at the hands of Dr. A. Richard Grossman or his son Dr. Peter Grossman. It is a dream come true for Marcus to work alongside the family and institution that has done so much for him.
