Marcus Wang is a fourth year PhD student studying Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and is currently attached to the research group of Jonathan Goodman and keen to submit his thesis (minimum 2 months notice of intention to submit required). His research focuses on creating machine learning models that are trained on molecular fingerprints in the field of computational toxicology. Marcus is also skilled in several programming languages (Python, R, C++) and is familiar with popular machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) as well as database management (MySQL). He is currently seeking a career in the UK related to machine learning, drug discovery, or computational chemistry.
