A part-time position helping an experienced organ tuner tending to churches in the North East and Scotland. The role involves holding the keys whilst the tuner works on the organ.The work gives an interesting insight into the workings of pipe organs, which are an incredible mix of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.

A part-time position to develop an activity for Key Stage 3 school children on the carbon emissions involved in transporting a commodity from the place of production to the end user. The activity is designed to make children more aware of the high environmental cost of transporting goods.
