Marcus has analyzed commercial real estate projects spanning the entire US, including hospitals, hotels, multifamily and apartment projects, retail centers, auto dealerships, golf courses, restaurants, manufacturing & industrial facilities, and office buildings. In addition to securing millions in accelerated deductions and tax credits for his clients, Marcus has provided additional real estate and tax consulting services such as fixed asset and retirement studies, Repair vs. Capitalization Studies, bonus depreciation consulting, construction management consulting, and Green Building tax incentives to clientele nationwide. He has been invited to speak to a number of prominent industry associations including the Kansas Society of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Ohio Society of CPAs and many more.Marcus is a Senior Member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP) and has served on the Education Committee, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and is the past Treasurer for the national organization. Marcus received a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee and received his Civil Engineering requirements from Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, Georgia.
