Women’S Assistant Coach
CurrentI am in a key role to transition the club into a professional contracted full-time model; from a previously expense-based programme. Developing new processes and supporting a shift in culture change to bring new levels of professionalism to the Women’s Programme. Lead Coach
As Lead Coach of the University of Birmingham Women’s Football Club, I managed the Women’s section for football at the University. This entailed managing the overall running and functionality of the club, as well as managing and coaching the 1st team. This role required me to work rigorously to funding criteria, regularly updating and safely storing data collection, completing monitoring and evaluation procedures, whilst also managing 5 budget lines. Other duties included; designing and launching a marketing campaign to recruit participants, exploring and utilising various activity recruitment and retention methods, booking facilities, processing invoices, recruiting and retaining partner organisations, searching for, recruiting and upskilling ‘student leaders’ and more.
