Key Account Project ManagerAusmart International (Commercial Fixtures & Fittings - Retail) Sep 2020 - Jan 2022Melbourne, Victoria, Australia𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: As a national account manager, I work closely with some of Ausmarts key customers (IGA, Ritchies, The Reject Shop and Baby Bunting) to conceptualise and deliver shopfitting solutions within the retail environment. My role in the project delivery arm requires implementation of efficient communication channels (internal and external) and support our customers to maximise their sales results through cost-effective fixture strategies and innovative solutions. e.g., full store fit outs, front of store counters and service areas, on-site artisan bakeries and sushi stations. I am the key contact for the 400+ stores that sit within my portfolio, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments (finance, logistics, store design, and procurement). My primary focus was to facilitate agreed works and manage the delivery of commercial fit-out projects from contract through to handover and completion, e.g., work with the architect, write up the project scope, costs, scheduling, variants and lead the onsite project delivery. I was also responsible for day-to-day operations, e.g., recruitment and onboarding of our internal team of shopfitters and cabinet makers, plus all OH&S matters.𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: • Successfully grew the company from the foundation contracts to employing 6 staff in a full-time capacity and multiple contractors (when required to complete agreed projects) within two years. • Ensuring compliance with industry best practice and exceeding client expectations, we became one of the preferred suppliers for commercial joinery for FDC and INTREC Constructions. • Implemented systems to efficiently perform complete takeoffs (measuring and costing plans) for the materials required for the internal store fitouts for Aldi (store refresh program). • I decreased installation time for Aldi shop fronts by pre-manufacturing the shopfronts off-site and delivering them in a modular system (ensuring consistency and a neater finish across all stores).

Senior Project ManagerAusmart International (Commercial Fixtures & Fittings - Retail) Oct 2011 - Jan 2017Melbourne, Victoria, Australia𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Not too dissimilar to my current role, as a senior project manager within the Ausmart Project Team, I worked closely with project team leaders, project managers and project coordinators to deliver agreed-upon commercial fit-out projects. As a senior project manager, I was responsible for the dedicated management of our key clients (Daiso Japan, The Reject Shop, Coles, Kmart and Aldi) and provided both the team leader and client support throughout the fit-out process.𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: •Chosen to lead and execute the newly won contract for Ausmart to provide third party project management for Kmart store refurbishments (many were conducted at night, allowing the stores to trade during the day to minimise lost revenue). • Working closely with the Westfield Scentre Group, I secured Ausmart as the preferred supplier and contractor for their centre and mall pop up solutions (Brandspace), delivering a new revenue stream to Ausmart. • Along with the Ausmart design team, I created a new fixture system enabling the backlit LED lighting bays at Daiso to be connected post installation, reducing overall installation time.

Project ManagerSpotlight Retail Group (Srg) (Commercial Shopfitting - Retail) Jan 2007 - Oct 2011Australia, Nz, Hong Kong And Singapore𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: As the Project Manager, my primary focus was to facilitate agreed works and manage the commercial fit-out projects from contract through to handover and completion for Spotlight, Anaconda, and RSEA brands across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. I travelled frequently, was the primary contact for commercial property managers, architects, subcontractors and suppliers and was responsible for all project tenders locally and internationally.𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: • Negotiated an unattainable make good clause on behalf of Spotlight and had their commercial lease deposit refunded in full (after Spotlight had reached their walkaway point). • Developed a custom ordering system that saw excess shelving wastage decrease per site, removing the need for excess fixtures being packed and stored (or relocated to third party storage) once the fit-out was completed, eliminating unnecessary costs. • Further reduced project costs by altering the existing shelving fixture system to have fewer components, which also meant a quicker installation time. • Worked closely with the Spotlight risk management team to develop and roll out an on-site OH&S induction program for both internal employees and contractors and played a pivotal role in changing the safety culture. • Delivering consistent results and demonstrating excellent values and behaviours saw me be awarded the internal 'high achiever' award four times within four years. -
