Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Box Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day marketing initiatives for the company. Responsibilities include: · Managing the processing and fulfillment of orders for ticketing requests made in-person, by phone, mail, group, or online.· Providing first-class customer service, ensuring that The Vineyard’s audience receives professional and efficient service from the Box office at all times.· Managing, scheduling, supervising and providing training for Box Office Assistants on policies, procedures, and ticketing system.· Managing pre-show will call operations.· Maintaining an accurate database of patrons, updating and modifying records as necessary.· Being knowledgeable and accurately informed of all aspects of The Vineyard’s productions, memberships, and special events to inform telephone inquiries and sell to patrons.· Entering performances, ticket holds, member rates, and discounts into ticketing system.· Providing the daily delivery of a detailed end of day sales report.· Staying current best practice for Box Office management, including innovative uses of the ticketing system.· Collecting and sharing feedback with management on a regular basis about subscriber and ticket buyer concerns, as well as staff needs· Assisting with special projects as needed.· Other duties as assigned.
