As an refrigeration operator for Perdue Farms, I momitor and make adustments to freezer temperatures as well as plant tempertures to ensure the highest quality product is produced in the plant. In addition to monitoring temperatures I also am responsible for maintaining anhydrous ammonia temperatures at safe working pressures. Water and steam pressures throughout the plant is another responsibility. I along with other technicians are responsible for repairs and replacement of all industrila and commercial refrigeration equipment as well as HVAC equipment. We monior anhydrous ammonia levels, pressures and temperatures by keeping accurate charts, rounds and records and we are all members of the hazardous material response team. We are also responsible for all plant coolers, and freezers temperatures aswell as the liquid nitrogen and liquid nitrogen freezer tunnels.

I manage all calls for service and maintenance. I am responsible for advertising and payroll, inventory of tools, parts and supplies and customer service.
