Profile bio

About Marcus Y.

Aspiring Electrical Engineer!! Ever since I was a kid, I would go off to a hardware store after school to play around with robotic parts till it was dark. My parents saw my passion in robotics and allowed me to enroll in a robotics course. I still remember my first mini project was to code a robotic vehicle that would follow a line using infrared sensors. After that, I involved myself in any projects that I could find with the only limitation of my imagination and creativity.During college, CS010 was my first time coding in C. I was introduced to a brand new world after the line cout << "Hello, World!" << endl; The possibilities of coding were endless. I even asked myself, why is C or Python not my mother language. The limitless resources allowed me to gain experience in algorithms, microprocessors, motor controls, application and electronic designs, and more. I am grateful that my passion for engineering never left and I will constantly be learning since there are always solutions waiting to be found.Software Languages/Skills: C/C++/C#, Python, Verilog, Linux, AutoCAD, Revit, MATLABHardware Skills: Arduino, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Soldering
