Recently I have been working with a variety of larger and smaller cultural organizations on program development and overall strategic planning. These include leading a consultation looking at the future of the Theatre Program at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, strategic planning for the Chop Theatre, as well as smaller consultative roles, often.

I ran Neworld, a performance and production company that produces 3-6 shows a year in Vancouver, and tour them nationally and internationally. Most of the shows we produce are original and many focus on stories, experiences, and/or points of views that are largely ignored or sanitized in mainstream popular culture. I chaired the inaugural policy council until Feb, 2015. It is a body appointed by, advising, and reporting to Vancouver City Council on arts and culture issues relevant to municipal jurisdiction. Our initial goal was modest but important (and not easy!): within the context of a government bureaucracy, to define a new system and integrate the council with.

Implemented a new, joint multi-disciplinary Bachelor of Performing Arts Program. 25 students with diplomas, from all performance disciplines, form a company for 9 months and make and produce a big interdisciplinary show.
