Born in Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Marcus Vinicius Dos-Santos is a journalist, with a PhD in Health, and develops work focused mainly on Integrated Corporate Communication in higher education institutions and in Public Communication in the fields of medicine, neurosciences, life sciences in general and in responsible research and innovation (RRI). PET/CT is a diagnostic imaging test capable of detecting tumors anywhere in the body. The CTMM is also a center of excellence in interdisciplinary clinical and basic research in the area of neuroscience, including molecular and brain stimulation studies, including oncology, cardiology, psychiatry and neurology. This Center also houses the National Institute of Science and Technology in Responsible Neurotechnology (INCT-NeurotecR), which as one of its main objectives analyzes, develops and implements a responsible research and innovation platform. This approach, proposed by the Horizon 2020 Project (European Union), aims to anticipate the ethical, legal, scientific and social challenges raised by new neurotechnologies, as a way of overcoming these challenges.
