My name is Marcus Barr (he/him) and I am a Web Designer and UX Designer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I enjoy making websites that are not only beautiful, but also equitable and easy to use. I achieve this by utilizing blank space whenever possible, rather than creating clutter, and by always keeping the end-user the focus of my design. Although I have experience in a multitude of digital marketing roles, I have found my passion in Web and UX Design. My willingness to learn new things has allowed me to flourish in the constantly evolving digital design field.At home, I'm a husband, as well as a father to two beautiful girls. My daughters have really challenged me to push myself in my career, as I hope to instill the same hard-working mentality in them that my parents instilled in me. My passions include sports (specifically Philadelphia sports teams), traveling, coaching youth soccer, and chasing my kids around.I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2011, with a bachelors degree in Finance. While at UNH, I was a member of their Division I men's soccer team for 4 years. I have been working at Hartford Funds in Wayne, Pennsylvania since 2013, where I am currently working as a Web and UX Designer.
