I am an experienced designer with expertise in architecture and urban design, and expert consulting for local government. In 2013 I launched a partnership with John A. Clark to form Baumgart Clark Architects. In 2023, we partnered up with Nick Barker to form a triumvirate, and we rebranded as BCBA Studio.Together with the team, we focus on socially engaged design services for our clients and we specialise in social and community clients in housing, crisis accommodation, core and clusters, youth foyers and education architecture.In addition to my architectural activities, I have extensive experience writing and preparing strategic bids and partnership bids for projects up to $1 billion plus construction size, and in the past I have managed a team of graphic designers to deliver such bids.After 22 years of freelance journalism I am a seasoned, widely published writer and an experienced design educator.
