The role consisted of quality control and quality standards management within the Jebel Ali Free Zone Factory of the largest privately owned armoured vehicle manufacturer in the World with a production of 30 commercial vehicles per month. Managing a team of 3 QC InspectorsSetting up and maintaining quality standard processes within the JAFZ Factory.Checking production quality and reporting on non-compliance to company standards.Working closely with the Production Team to remediate any production problemsEnsuring a consistent approach to quality inspectionsWorking closely with the Design Team to ensure new modifications and enhancements to vehicles are consistent with quality standards and company requirements.Keeping detailed documentation and specifications on all models produced.

I was responsible for the coordination of fleet and delivery / pick up of vehicles for a large area north of Aberdeen for the Aberdeen City and Airport stations.

I was responsible for the management of a very busy service team for the largest Europcar rental station in Sweden.In charge of all parts of garage activities including hiring, training and supervising twenty employees in garage operations. This entailed the servicing, preparation, valeting and maintenance of 700 vehicles.Responsible for all procurement relating to the operation of a busy car rental station, including tools, machinery, chemicals and other consumables. This included selection of local vendors and checking the quality of outsourced services.Training of all personnel in company HSE policies and procedures, including safe use of machinery, tools, and the identification and safe use of chemicals.Achievements:Between 1997 and 1999, in addition to managing the garage I was also involved in the implementation of quality and environmental standards. In 1997 / 1998 I conducted process development and implementation of ISO9001 within the Station. During 1998 / 1999 I implemented ISO14001 and successfully attained certification.Winner of the Europcar “Best Station Award” in 2007.
