Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro – PUC-RJ (2002); and a postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Procedural Labor Law from Universidade Gama Filho – UGF (2009).I have been working in the labor area for over 20 years, advising on highly complex individual and collective labor issues for the main Brazilian companies, in addition to international companies, as well as acting in strategic labor lawsuits.Experience:- Preparation of legal opinions, analysis of case law trends, preparation and review of employment contracts and amendments, monitoring of legislative processes;- Acting and advising on (i) individual and collective negotiations; (ii) structuring/revision of norms/policies in general; (iii) compensation plans, individual agreements and contracts; (iv) mergers and acquisitions from a labor standpoint; (v) transfers of employees, (vi) outsourcing and harmonization of benefits;- Assistance in the hiring of foreign, as well as for the expatriation of Brazilians, including issues related to the granting of work visas, compensation, benefits, among others;- Support for Compliance investigations;- Due diligence of labor practices aimed at identifying contingencies and reviewing procedures;- Representation before the Labor Prosecuto'r Office in civil inquiries;- Monitoring inspections before the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; and- Acting in strategic labor lawsuits.
