I am a Partner in the Melbourne Office of Clayton Utz. I specialise in Major Project procurement and Debt Finance.My experience includes lead roles on a variety of projects for both government and the private sector, acting for major financial institutions and large corporate borrowers. My debt finance expertise extends to project, property and acquisition finance as well as general corporate commercial financing, unsecured and secured lending arrangements.I have advised on many Projects (including Public Private Partnerships (PPP)) across Australia for over 25 years and delivered many projects to financial close. Industries I work in include Transport (High Capacity Metro Trains), Water (Victorian Desalination), Health (new Footscray Hospital and Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre), Stadia (new Perth (Optus) Stadium), Prisons (Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison), Social Housing (Ground Lease Model 2 and a variety of funding to community housing associations) and Energy (various wind farm and solar farm developments).My finance practice has a large component of property finance for senior and mezzanine lenders and project finance associated with many infrastructure projects.I am also a Director of the Clayton Utz Foundation which supports organisations that have a strong and meaningful connection to the firm through our Pro Bono practice, Community Connect (our community involvement program) and the volunteering and fundraising commitments of our partners and employees. Over $14 million has been distributed in grants to over 300 charities since 2003.
